That Good Ole Baylor Line
After missing the first Baylor Homecoming of my life for a friends wedding last year I had to make up double time for Jackson's first one of his life. We had a wonderful weekend with old friends and family and have spent the day resting from all the fun!
Jackson's first football game, he stayed warm and cozy in my baby Bjorn, under a blanket and my rain poncho. Baylor beat Kansas State and secured a bowl game. This week we are ranked #25, so exciting!
When we got to town Friday night we headed over to Carter's soccer game and Jackson got some tips from his Daddy, Ryan wants to start early. Jackson gots lots of loving from Clarey on the sidelines.
Then we all headed to BU Bonfire for some corndogs and ferris wheel rides.
Saturday was a day filled with tons of Baylor Traditions: Parade, Old Main Lodge with family and friends, a typical rainy football game, and an evening with friends catching up at my parents house.

Jackson is with Hunter (Donna's BU roomate's grandson) at Bob-O and YaYa's house!
Jackson slept for 8 hours that night after Homecoming! By far the most he has ever slept!

2 month appointment
Jackson is growing like a weed and perfectly healthy. Even the doctor said that she could not find anything wrong with him. :) By 8 weeks he is smiling a lot, sometimes it is gas or poops but he does respond to us when we smile at him. I have to laugh every time he smiles at me.. he makes me so happy. He weighed in at 11.2 lbs (50% percentile) and 23 1/4 inches (75% percentile) in length. We have already had to retire some clothes that he is too long for. Can't believe he is already 8 weeks. His happy time is in the morning and he will play by himself for a while on his play mat. But by the time Ryan gets home at 5 or 6 PM he becomes Mr. Cranky Pants. Fussy unless we walk him around and bounce him from side to side. Jackson has only peed on himself once, it was in the early stages of my slow diaper changing. He hates to have even the slightest dirty diaper and he screams until we change it. Ryan thinks that this will mean that he will potty train well and early. But I am blessed to have such a wonderful and participating husband who pitches in as soon as he gets home! I love you Ryan. He does love to snuggle face down in the crook of our arm and sleep there. He sleeps from 5.5 to 7 hours at night and has been doing this for a while. After his morning feed I usually can swaddle him back up and get him to sleep for a few more hours. Yea for sleep! We love being parents to this beautiful boy!
Fall Decor
We went to the local farmers market in Bryan and bought some beautiful mums, pumpkins (large and small), and a stack of hay. So we had to do a photo shoot...
