Cousin Weekend

Campbell (2 1/2) and Jackson (21 months) had a great cousin weekend in College Station.  Playing outside, dinner at Chuy's, chasing puppies and lots of Ya-Ya time...they wore each other out.  I cannot wait to watch these sweet boys grow up together.

Scraped his knee 2xs in the same spot
Officially a BOY not a baby
Says "Shoe"

1st time with bronchitis for a week
Lots of attitude
First bite from Cooper, mistaken for food
Loves outside
I still sing buttercup song from three amigos and goodnight sweetheart from 3 men and a baby to him nightly
Sleeps with polar bear nightly and sometimes wants him more than Froggie
Almost lost first Froggie at academy but I went back and it and it was in the parking lot where we left it
Drinks from straws
Throws temper tantrums in public
He sleeps all night but will wake up a few hours after he goes to bed crying a few times a week and I get to cuddle and rock him back to sleep
Bedtime 9-10pm and sleeps 12 hours, 2-3 hr afternoon nap
Loves playing with matchbox cars and his name train
Hates to have diaper changed and teeth brushed
Still has the best laugh in the world and loves to be tickled and chased
He adores his daddy

Eating much more in general
Makes animal noises: lion, monkey, snake, dog, cat, bear

Easter 2012

Jackson got a great Easter basket this year...

 1st Elmo Toy...he loves it as you can see

His very own Hot Wheels...

And so begins the hunt!

We had a wonderful brunch with friends after church and we all took a much needed nap!

Cousin Visit

We had a great time getting the cousins together for some play time this weekend.

And we didn't even plan on matching the boys!

Ryan's 29th Birthday

We celebrated Ryan with lunch from BJ's and a home made dinner with Monjuni's special spaghetti sauce ordered just for the birthday boy.  Also there was a cookie cake.  Jackson gave him a huge work fan for his garage work shop and Brittany gave him 4 seasons of Scrubs, his favorite TV show that is no longer on air.  Happy Birthday to our favorite dad and husband!

5 years together

We celebrated our 5 year anniversary this year and had dinner in Houston at Fogo De Chao a Brazilian Steakhouse.  All the meat you can eat and a wonderful salad bar! We also splurged on desserts! The past 5 years have flown by and I am so lucky to have the most wonderful husband, marriage and child to show for it! I love my life!

He is getting into playing with matchbox cars
Loves to point out birds
Could live outside
Knows how to work an iPad
Loves Elmo and watching Sesame Street, Cat in the Hat and Curious George- all PBS shows
Hates when dad brushes his teeth
2 temper tantrums related to him wanting to go outside and we said no
He still laughs hysterically when he's tired and delirious
He has the most delicious laugh when being tickled
He loves to chase dad and be chased
He understands so much of what we ask of him or tell him, it's amazing!
This is the month that I say he transformed from a baby to a boy!

Staycation Part 2

We got VIP treatment at the Mayborn Museum on Baylor Campus courtesy of Aunt Lanna. So many fun things to do and see...

We love bubbles!!!!
