Christmas at YaYa's

We had an early Christmas celebration at Yaya's this year and we all had a great time in our matching Christmas Jammies.  Aren't they so cute? CC had a pair too, but we still can't post pics of her! Promise she got lots of love and attention though.

 The boys club...

I love his new super cheesy smile...
We all played an exciting game of Cups...
Brandon lost his tower and was a bit frustrated...
Where does one boy end and the other begin?
Christmas Bingo...we play for prizes and this is serious stuff.

Watching funny videos we made of the kids dancing as elves.  Elf yourself.
Clarey entertained us with her new Frozen Microphone and Speaker. Yes, there was volume...
We killed 10 minutes by building gingerbread houses. The kids gave up and the adults did most of the work.
Weston thinks he is a big kid.
Clarey is such the little mother to all the kids...
The 4 older cousins even had their first sleepover.  Carter was the first one asleep and Campbell claims that he did not sleep at all. Yeah right.

Dance party...
Do you wanna build a snowman?

Yaya gave us family gifts of tailgating bean bag toss games. Ours was a house divided Baylor and Texas A&M.

Jackson's school Christmas program

Jackson rocked it this year in his school Christmas show. He sang all the songs and knew all the motions! We were so proud of him.

Home Group Christmas Party

Ryan loved his Elsa hat.

Angel Tree Day

Donuts make for fun pictures but this kid took 2 bites and then was done. What 4 year old doesn't like donuts???
Jackson picked out a little boy from the Angel Tree and we got to buy him Christmas presents. We picked out a wooden train set, Christmas PJ's and lots of winter clothes.
We look forward to doing activities like this every year with our boys to teach them the joy of giving.

Vegas or bust

I accompanied Ryan to one of his CE's this weekend in Las Vegas. It was my first trip there so I made the most of my time being a tourist.
Our ride for the weekend...Mustang Convertable. Now we want one.

My first day I walked through as many hotels that I could. Wynn, Venetian, Palazzo, Caesars, Mirage, and Bellagio. I started at 10AM and by 4 I took a cab back to my car at the other end of the strip. My feet were tired.

In the Wynn...made of flowers

I picked up some souviners in the Harley store in the Venetian.
More flower sculpters in the Bellagio.
The fountain at the Bellagio. Really much more impressive in person.
Loved driving the strip with the top down.
Friday night we had dinner at Red 8 and saw La Reve at the Wynn. What a great date night.

More driving the strip at night.
Bellagio at night.
My second day I visited MGM and some shops. Picked up souviners at the M&M and Coke store. Then I had lunch at Strip Burger and shopped at The Fashion Show Mall.  The I drove out to Red Rock Canyon to see the beautiful sights.
Of course I got a better view in the convertible. It sure was chilly though.

Saturday night Ryan and I watched Baylor play in the Big 12 Championship at Emeril Lagasse's Stadium over drinks and appetizers.
We won. Ryan bought me these beads for good luck.
For dinner we headed to the Venetian canal area and chose to eat at Otto's Italian food for bruschetta, cheese platter and gelato. We walked the strip some more and drove one last time down the strip. What a fun place to visit. Until next time...
