This past Sunday our wonderful Sunday School teachers, Bobby and Dawn Murphy, had everyone out to their land for a cookout, horseback riding and Easter Egg hunting. I loved getting all the kids together, these are friends that Jackson will have throughout his childhood. He and two other boys from our class were all born in August of 2010, I smell a playdate?!?!

Today was also Jackson's 7 month birthday

8th Anniversary of Ryan and Brittany's first date

What a chunk! Already in 12 month clothes!

Pretty laid back personality most of the time unless he is sleepy, hungry or dirty.

Is getting cuter everyday (if that is even possible)!

Yep...He's a Hooks

Ryan has been looking forward to Jackson wearing this onesie since he was born! We bought this when we were in Corpus Christi many summers ago, before we were pregnant or knew it would be a boy! For those who do not know, The Corpus Christi Hooks are a minor league baseball team that so kindly sell these onesies at their local Academy stores. We also bought t-shirts for ourselves, but this little guy looks much cuter in his baseball gear! Go Hooks! FYI this is a 12 month and Jackson is just 6 months in this pic!

Canton Boxers

Ya-Ya bought these boxers in Canton this summer and today was the first

time he could wear them, so cute! What a little man.

Spring Break with Ya-Ya

Ya-Ya was on her spring break and volunteered to come spend the week with us and watch Jackson while we worked on the flooring and could have a few dates.

We went shopping at an outlet mall in houston, she went to the dentist (Ryan) for a check up, had birthday lunch, made Jackson a birthday wreath and lots of snuggle and play time with J!

I never get to do this anymore, he fell asleep during a bottle and I sat there for a while

soaking in the sweet moments with my little boy while he is still little!

A little later he got cranky so dad took him for a sit in the hammock

He really liked it until....

He was done.

It looked easy on HGTV!

Ryan and I decided to get all DIY and lay our own laminate in our entry way, halls, and living room. It only took 5 days working on it after work and all weekend while YA-YA babysat. We really wanted to get them done before Jackson started crawling. I am so impressed with Ryan and every task he takes on and does with perfection! They really look awesome!

29 is too close to 30!

Ya-Ya came for a birthday visit bearing birthday gifts and lots of free babysitting!

Ryan came prepared with beautiful flowers, red-velvet cupcakes, and gifts before taking me to a wonderful dinner at Christophers! Best meal I have ever had! Then we finished up the night with a late movie "Just go with it".
