Ryan and I got to have a great date night. Dinner at Madden's in downtown Bryan and to see a new movie, X-Men: Days of Future Past.

Landon and Ashley's Wedding Shower

We celebrated the upcoming wedding of Ashley and Landon this weekend with a huge family party in Waco.  It was one of the rare occasions where everyone was in the same place at once.  So many sweet family members made the long drives from all over Texas.

Let there be a pergola

My handy hubby is at it again! He has designed an awesomely huge pergola for our patio and I couldn't be more thrilled about this project! Even though the wood I have had to help him carry and move is painfully heavy.

It really is as huge as it looks and is so beautiful.

Keith and Paula were a huge help and we couldn't have done it without them.  The boys loved having their Mima and Pop around for the weekend too.

A week later we finished staining it...

Last day of school

He started School for Little People in the 2 year old class as a 3 year old and he looks so much more like a boy and less like a toddler.
He didn't sing any songs but loved waving to us once he spotted us in the crowd.
In his class room one last time. Next time he comes back here he will be a 4 year old.
We took him to Spoons to celebrate his last day of school.
Weston loves our trips to get ice cream.

Ya-Ya turned 66 years young

We took Ya-Ya to The Mix for her adults only birthday dinner and we had a blast. I adore my family.
Just the three of us. This never happens.
Girls only getting ready for our day of pampering tomorrow.
The beautiful birthday cake.

We loved wearing our matching shirts out for the day.

Humpty Dumpty had a great fall

Jackson fell about 4 feet off the ladder of a friends playscape last night. We took him to our doctor today when we realized he wasn't using his right arm and kept it tucked in by his side at all times. But he didn't cry or complain at all today. Sure enough he broke his collar bone. He is such a trooper and has been so tough. He will wear the sling for the next 4 weeks. Yay for summer starting next week.

For being so brave Jackson got the toy he has been dreaming of. He is thrilled.
