Galveston Family Vacation

We took another family vacation to our wonderful family friends, The Nalepa's, beautiful beach house.  Jackson loved the beach, sand and waves. He loved hanging out with his cousins and practicing walking up and down the stairs. We visited Moody Gardens, The Rainforest Cafe, The Strand Shops/Dinner at Fishermans Warf and Ryan and I got a date night to see The Dark Knight Rises at the IMAX.

Big boy bed

Jackson climbed out of his crib for the first time on Monday night so on Tuesday we took apart his crib and made it into a big boy bed! He is doing surprisingly well sleeping in it.  The first night he slept 11PM-7AM, the second night 10-7:30, third 10-9AM and I think that we are on the right track! He is also napping 3 hrs in it as well.

Big bang

We went to tour Cowboy Stadium and attended a Texas Rangers baseball game. We had not been since our childhoods so it was a fun day. This game in particular we experienced a lightening strike that felt as if it hit the stadium and then a brief rain storm. The breeze was nice but we are not die hards so we left early and missed all the exciting scores.
