Spontaneous potty training

Weston woke up dry so I put him on the potty and he went for the first time ever. A few hours later he ran to the bathroom and said potty. So he went again. After lunch he was still dry and went a 3rd time. Yay! He napped in a pull up and stayed dry. We put underwear after nap and went outside. He did pee behind a bush...one set back. Great first half of the day though. How cute is he?

Happy 6th birthday Campbell

We had fun at Campbell's party today. Just a quick trip to Waco. We love being with our cousins.

Jackson's first soccer practice and game

The entire family minus Logan got together to celebrate Mom Ruth today at Cafe Barron.

We let Weston sleep in a twin bed for the first time at MiMa and Pop's house this weekend! He did awesome! It helped that he was super exhausted from the weekend. I don't think I'm ready to give up the crib yet but at least we know that he can do it!

We all were together for a birthday dinner at Jalapeño Tree and then cake and ice cream back at The Hooks house. Love watching the cousins grow up together!

CC's 1st birthday

Back 2 School

Today was the boys first day back to school and despite the rocky tear filled drop off...Weston rebounded and had a great day! Jackson is a pro at school and loved spending the day with his best buds! It is going to be a great year!

It was hard to leave them there, I just wanted to stick around in the hall (like a crazy mom). But I left and ran errands. Even had a quiet lunch with Ryan. So strange...like we had left the kids somewhere. Don't worry about me, I can get used to this.

On Thursday after pick up, they both had a great day.
