Big boy hair

It was Jackson's first time sitting in the chair to get his new haircut! He did great, only took us 2 years not to cry while doing it! Best haircut ever!

Family Weekend!

We missed going to East Texas a few weeks ago due to Jackson's fever so we made up 

for it this weekend and got to spend time with both of our families.  It was Weston's

 first road trip and I have to say that it went pretty well! 

We first stopped by Mom Ruth's to let her meet Weston for the first time.  

I'd say that they hit it off.  Both boys were so good to her.  

We also convinced her to go out to dinner at McAlisters.  Even though she insisted on picking up the check.  Here is a blurry hug from Jackson.

One of their favorite past times is taking a neighborhood stroll. I love how sweet he is with her!

Even Leah got to meet Mr. Weston with her mother, Ellen.  

She is 15 weeks pregnant here and already has the magic touch!

We spent all rainy Saturday at Mima and Pop's house. 

Jackson spends many hours a day organizing his Rescue Bots!

Finally, Mimi got to meet Weston and they bonded instantly! 

After going to church with Mom Ruth we ate lunch at Butcher Shop with Ryan's family.

The trip home went better than we thought it would. Both boys were so 

exhausted from playing they slept pretty much the whole way home!

Sunday night we found Jackson in the bathroom, poor guy was so delirious so we put him to bed.

Wednesdays with Weston: Week 12 and 3 months

Sleeping- Began sleeping unswaddled and in his own room. Sleeps 8 hrs at night, eats, then sleeps 4-5 more.

Eating- started supplementing with formula at 3.5 months 

Activity- he can push himself in circles and off his play mat when on his back. Smiles when you "boop" his nose. 

Game day

I got Ryan tickets for him and a friend to go to the TAMU game against SMU.  

They were on the 2nd row so they got some TV time.  

1st trip to the movies

Jackson has become a bit obsessed with Planes lately so we decided to take him to see his first movie in the theater, Planes.  There were only two other families there so he was able to run around and talk. Weston slept the whole time so we were all able to enjoy it.

Jackson's 3 year check up

Weight- 38.8 pounds - 95th percentile

Height- 3 ft. 5 inches- 99th percentile

Instead of saying yes he says "I know" or "of course"

When referring to 2 or more people or the dogs he says "You guys"

Lots of "What's up?"

Super polite, says, "please, sorry, thank you" "excuse me" when he toots or burps or when others do those things. 

Said "I can not believe it" (learned from Little Einstein's)

Says "help" with an east texas accent

"Bouncy ball" with an Italian accent

Favorite movies and characters are Max and Ruby, Veggie Tales, Planes, Cars 1 &2 and Rescue Bot 

Loves to be chased, tickled and play hide and go seek

Loves bubble baths

Dances around to LMFAO's "I'm sexy and I know it" after he takes a bath

Pulls up his shirt to flash cameras when taking a picture (he learned that one from his dad)

Can recite every other phrase from the book "Go, Dog, Go" and will sing along to "My Little Buttercup" with me before bed.

He still cuddles with me, loves playing with dad in his room, takes long naps, stays up late, loves his puppies, is super sweet and gentle with Weston, loves hanging out in his fort, watches TV in "dada's bed", and needs to have all 3 bears and a blanket to be comfortable.

Weston's 2 month check up

Weight- 12.8 lbs- 54th percentile

Length- 1ft 11.5 inches- 72nd percentile 

Head- 40.5 cm- 87th percentile 

Slept 9 hrs at 9 weeks!

We spent the day at Ya-Ya's on the slip n slide, throwing water balloons, grilling out and celebrating Brandon's 49th and all the little kids birthday's at a joint party!
